2004 Mazda B2300 EGR Valve

I have an 04 B2300 automatic with 42000 miles. It pings when at highway speeds. I was told that it may be the egr valve. I bought a replacement however I cant seem to find its location. Please help.

I doubt it's the EGR unless the MIL is on! You didn't say what engine this is the 4 cyl...
