2003 mazda b3000 clutch slave cylinder

how difficult is it to remove the trans working in my driveway? I have doe this kind of work before many years ago, and I am considering one last "BIG JOB" before I hang up my tools! Any tips and advice would be appreciated.

You shouldn't need to drop the tranny if you want to replace the clutch slave cylinder. But if that's what you're wanting to do, It shouldn't be too hard. Make sure that it's on a flat surface, block the engine to keep if from falling when you unbolt the tranny, support it, then unbolt the mounts and the bell housing. It should drop right out if you remove the transmition cross member first.
