1992 Mazda Truck no spark

I recently bought a 92 b2600i. The guy I bought it from said the ecm was bad,sent it to florida,checked out fine. I have power to the coil and thats it. There is a connection on the distributor with four wires,dont know what it's called but I unplugged it. Should I have power to any of the leads on the female end with the key turned on? Also I've seen a few questions where people said there computer was on the passenger side just forward of the door. What I sent in was under drivers seat. Was wondering if I sent wrong comp in.Thanks any help would be appreciated
