When it stalls out-do below immediately to determine if its a fuel or spark problem

Get a carb cleaner and spray into the carb or the throttle body on an EFI. Did it start and die? If not disconnect a sparkplug wire or 2 and ground it to the engine -have helper crank engine over-do you have a snapping blue spark? If so-you have a fuel problem, check the fuel pressure to rule out the fuel pump/pressure regulator and listen to the injector/s are they pulsing or hook up a noid light. No snapping blue spark continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-power input to the coil/coil,distributor pick-up coil, ignition control module, cam and crank sensors-

Check the fuel pump pressure-this will point you to a failed fuel pump before you start blaming the carb or injection unit-If its a carb could be that the choke plate is not opening-remove aircleaner and look in there-when engine is fully warmed up it should be wide open-

i am having the same prob with mine and it has 250,000 on it. there should be a white wiring harness on the front of ur carb. it is one of the solenoids that is wired in it i have not found which yet. u can bypass them by using a wire from the positive on the ignition solenoid to the positve on the battery. dont leave in just touch it to the battery a couple times it will click the solenoids and it should start back up. do this after u warm it up
