My AC started blowing hot air about 2 weeks ago. I checked the freon today and the reading was in the full zone. The Compressor clicks on for a few seconds and then clicks off for a few seconds and then back on. It keeps doing this overf and over and never stays on or off for more than a few seconds. What is the problem?

What was the pressure reading you got? Usually when they cycle like that it means it is low on pressure.engine warmed up on a warm day you should have at least 35 psi on with the a/c clutch engaged. If it is in that range, you may need to have a shop check the high side pressure to be sure it isnt going too high and shutting the system down.

When the compressor clicks on the guage goes up tp 45. When it hits 45 the compressor clicks off and the pressure goes down. Once it reaches 15psi it clicks back on and the guage goes up to 45 and clicks back off. Is this the problem and can the pressure increase without adding anything to it. I never added any freon 2 weeks ago when the hot air started blowing.

Sounds liek you may have that backwards. the static pressure will be higher than the running pressure. When not engaged it should be up around 45, when on if it goes down to 15 it is low. That is why I suggest checking the high side pressure as well
