2001 Mazda Tribute flashing daytime running lights?

Ive noticed lately that sometimes my daytime running lights flash on and off, repeatedly, both of them.,....when i turn on the headlights, they are fine.It doesnt look like a loose wire because the flashing was even.Is this normal or is she possessed?

My Mazda is doing the exact same thing and getting progressively worse. Just wondering if you ever figured out what it was cause I can't figure it out!

no,.... i didnt really get a chance to figure out what it was,... thinkin it must be a module controlling the DRL

That's kind of what I thought too, just not looking forward to trying to fix it. Not the easiest vehicle to work on as I'm sure you've noticed! Probably just drive with my headlights on until it becomes absolutely necessary to fix it. In the meantime though, if you come up with an easy fix, please let me know and I'll certainly do the same for you.
