Heater is not throwing out hot air I have it set for heat but it is only throwing out cold air

Check coolant level first. Then see if the heater hoses are getting hot when the car is warmed up.If it has a heater control valve inline on the heater hoses, see if iti s letting hot water into the heater core. If all that is good, you may have a problem under the dash or with the controller
