after replacing the wiper linkage how do i get the proper alinement

With the wiper switch in the "OFF" position align the windshield wiper blade in the down position, press the arm on the spline windshield wiper motor. It should be lined. You may have to raise the arm up so that you can align the spline in the windshield arm with the spine on the wiper motor.
