i have a 82 mazda rx-7 and i was wanting to put a replace muffler on it to make it sound better but i was told you could not on a rotary engine becuase it burns too hot so can you or do you have to buy a custom muffler

i wouldnt try putting on any regular exhaust pipe on it, it doesnt run that much hotter but that little bit is enough, you would probably have to go with a custom one.
