I have a 98 Mazda Protege' DX. 84k miles.
My battery light has been on for sometime now. It will go off and then back on at times. My check engine light goes on and off as well. Well, it finally died. i was driving and it killed in an intersection. I jumped it, but didn't make it home until 4 MORE jumps later. I've had my alternator put in 3 times due to screw ups by GoodYear. Is this a battery issue? It will not hold a charge at all. It's about 2 years old... Just don't want to put a bunch of money into this car.
