My Mazda sqeaks terribly upon startup. The noise eventually goes away, by has got progressively louder over the last year.

My repair garage cannot find the problem. They have replaced the belts, checked the timing belt, and alternator, all to no avail.

They have tightened the fan belt assembly for me on several occasions, which keeps the car quiet for about a week, but then the noise comes back and gets louder.

The squealing generally starts as soon as the car is started when cold, and placed into reverse to back out of the driveway. It is also noticebly louder when the fan/AC is turned on at startup.

please help...have no clue why this happening and the garage can't figure it out !!

Might be some kind of contaminent on the pulleys that is messing up the belts. If any kind of "dressing" has been sprayed on the belts, all of the pulleys must be thoroughly cleaned. They couldnt find any bad bearings on the front of the engine?
