Hi,
my windshield washer fluid is not coming out of it's container under the hood.
We had 2 storms this weekend and frigid temps, my first thought is that the hose is frozen. The wipers them selves are fine and go back n forth properly it is just the fluid that is not coming out. How do I rectify this problem. Right now I am stopping at every other gas station to clean the windshield manually. Would hot water work or taking it to a car wash? I am perplexed on how to fix this.
I would appreciate any insight you have.
Sincerely,
Donna

Hi there,

Can you hear the pump running when you push the washers? if not the pump may be faulty, and if you can hear the pump running, the hose or nozzles may be blocked, check this and report back.

Hi Mark,
No there is no sound coming when I push the washer. I guess it would be that pump. I just made an appt with my mazda dealer for tomorrow am. They did not tell me a $$$$ do you happen to know if this is a pricey fix???

Thanks,

It should not be very expensive if it is just the washer pump.
