the valve noise with shims. Racefan966 said I need to replace the lifters they were hydrolic and bleeding off. When I went to order them they were solid as I had first thought. My question at this point is the lash is out of spec. .002 inches on 4 valves, since I drive this auto on short trips now is it ok to just put up with the noise for a few seconds on start-up or is there going to be damage if it is not fixed? thanks
