Air Conditioning problem
1997 Mazda Protege 4 cyl Automatic
----------------------------------------------------------------
I have a 1997 protege with the 1.5 I had the AC system charged up and oil put in the compressor, due to it being taken of the vehicle for other vehicle repairs. The system has worked fine for 3 months, then periodic clutch locking up and belt squeeling. Compressor finally locked up, maybe ran for 5-10 seconds locked up. I have replaced the expansion valve, compressor and accumulator / drier. Do I need to replace the evaporator? It looks fine but I've heard that's required. The condensor will be flushed by a garage prior to the system being charged. Anything else I need to do before taking it to the shop?

thanks for the help as always
