I have a 97 protege with 151,000 miles. I am having problems with the cars idle flucuating. the rpms go up and down at all times. right now in order to keep it driveable the idle has been set up or otherwise it wouldn't run at all.would this be a throttle sensor problem or an idle sensor problem?also the belt for the alternator keeps coming off when both belts are on for alternator & power steering & a/c.
