CAr will not start, has fire, gas and no vacum leaks.
Replaced rotor and distubutor cap, checked time belt and chain. the engine turns normal and the compression is 110 psi on first three and the fourth 115psi. Also I've changed out the gas becuse i thought it might've had water in the gas. i think the fire is yellow. wouold it help if i change the ditubutor becuase module is one piece
thanks

Hi Cgallo30,

Thank you for the donation and the detailed explanation of the diagnosis.

The compression seems too low.

I do not know if you have 1.5 L or 1.8 L so I will provide both.
1.5L = Minimum 146 psi. Standard is 195 psi.
1.8L = Minimum 139 psi. Standard is 185 psi.

Pump some engine oil into plug holes and crank engine to get the compression up. Retest the compression.

The coil seems weak but in this case it might still be able to start the engine. We shall try to solve the compression first. Was the vehicle parked over an extended period of time?

The motor is a 1.5 l and I put some oil in the pistons and got the compression up 5 psi more in each cylinder 115-120 psi, so if the motor does not have normal compression, does it mean that the motor is no good?

If you cannot get the compression up, the motor is failing.

If the engine had been left idle for an extended period, it would happen. Try putting more oil and see if you can get the compression further up. Try starting again and see if it works. Once started it might be able continue running.
