95 Mazda Protoget

Changed the fuel filter on a 95 Mazda Protoget.
Now Idle is erratic and seriouse stumbles on accelleration. Have I got "air" in the system as someone told me, or bigger problems ?

Air will usually purge out of the system. Be sure it is the correct filter and is installed properly, no pinched lines or the such

Yah I would hazzard a guess that there is something else wrong.

Those fuel filters WILL run both directions, although not sure how you could do it (only seen one person do it, but they had to really force it LOL)

Maybe take the fuel filter off and check to make sure there is good flow through it. What kind of filter was it, OEM?
