ctually, depending on the model and the build date...it could be either OBD I or OBD II. Is there also a port under the steering column of the dash. Also, what engine do you have in your car? Is it the 2.0L 4 cyl or the 2.5L v6....? There are alot of codes and even the tranny would be a help.

p.s. why don't you take it to the dealer. The engine light being on does not mean the one or another sensor is faulty. Its more of a guid to an area that has a problem.
