Hi, I own a 1989 Mazda MX5 it has a 1.6 ltr engine and so far has done approx 98,000 miles (158,000km).
I recently had a mechanic replace some faulty seals and the timing belt on the engine, and since then everytime I turn on the A/C there is a rattling noise coming from the engine, which pretty much shakes the whole car. I have returned it back to the mechanic but they tell me that I may be hit up for a big cost to replace the unit, I was wondering if there may be something involved with the previous work they did which may have caused this to happen in the first place.
