Noises problem
1994 Mazda MX5 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

i just had my valves seals replaced .since i got it bad the car keeps staling so a raised the idle now i here te valves clacking when i step on the gas what did they do to it wrong? it ran fine when i too0k it in there

IF you only hear this noise when acceleration it will probably be an ignition timing issue and the noise is engine ping and not valve rattle, (the valves will rattle all the time) adjusting the timing with out earthing out the check connector will upset basic setting, take the car back to the mechanic and get them to do a base idle & timing re set, start here.
