So I am about to buy a 1992 Mazda MX3 with a 1.8L V6 in it and it needs a pressure plate and clutch. I have a pressure plate and clutch for a mazda mx3 with the 1.6L inline 4 cylinder. Can I put the clutch and pressure plate on the V6 mazda?

thank you

If it is also a 1992, no it will not. Likley the year will not matter, but if it is different let me know.

That would be "Accept" ;-) ...Different part numbers.
these are the specs.

92 V6:
# Clutch Disc Splines : 22
Cover Size : 8 1/2"
Disc Hub I.D./Input Shaft Size : 15/16"

93 4 cyl:
# Clutch Disc Splines : 20
Cover Size : 7 1/2"
Disc Hub I.D./Input Shaft Size : 7/8"

2 different animals...

I wouldn't let the clutch cost persuade me...I'd throw it on ebay myself...
