MPV won't shift

Hello All,

First time poster.

2000 Mazda MPV LX. 79K, A/T, 3.0L

Problem just started. Won't upshift or downshift. No speedo (electronic) and missing the pointer for the shift indicator. ATF is full, pink and doesn't smell burnt. I can upshift manually...and it only will downshift manually when stopped. Goes to neutral if I try to downshift when moving. I already changed the inhibitor switch because of the missing pointer on the shift indicator. It didn't help.

HAve you checked all the PCM and TCM fuses? Also check all teh connections at the PCM and TCM

I don't have a service manual yet. Will be picking one up soon. Can't afford the factory one...big $$$...so I will probably get a Clymer's or Hansens (?)
