2004 Mazda MPV Hesitation when accelerating

My van hesitates and stutters when you accelerate. It also stutters a little when it is just idling. It started a couple of months ago and has gotten progressively worse. It is doing it so much now that I can't drive it. Can you please give me some ideas on where to start for repair? Thanks a lot.

Inspect and test all the following listed below:

Oxygen sensor.
Catalytic converter.
Fuel injectors dirty/sticking.
Mass airflow sensor/Airflow meter.
Throttle position sensor.
Manifold absolute pressure sensor.
EGR Valve
Fuel pressure regulator leaking,fuel filter or defective fuel pump.
False air leakage.
Fuel contamination.
Foul/defective spark plugs.
Open spark plug wires.
Ignition coil/Coil packs defective.
Incorrect ignition timing.
Cap and rotor.

Note:If it doesn't apply disregard.
