1993 Mazda MPV once car is warm it runs really rough

1993 Mazda MPV 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Mazda mpv 1993 V6 JE, 1.started running really rough and than stoped and would not winde over. 2. Mechanic told us it was the module in the distributor so we brought a new one. 3. Starts, but now you can drive it till it gets warm and than it drives REALLY rough again, The muffler was even glowing red. 4. mechanic put new distributor cap, rotor button and the coil, and still doing the same thing. 5. spark on 1,3,4,6 is good .5 of a millisecond but 2 and 5 are spaning out to 13 of a millisecond. Its has been at the mechanics for 3 weeks and still they dont know what the problem is... My problem is i have 4 children under 5 and no car.. I am really need your help on solving this problem.. PLEASE

The catalytic converter glowing red hot indicates there is a misfiring and excessive( unburnt) fuel is getting to it.

Cylinder 2 and 5 seems to be the cause.

Check the compression to see if there are any difference fromt the rest.
Try swapping the injectors to see if problem is migrated.

There is spark in the coil but when it gets to 2 and 5 the spark is slower, so problem has to be at the start.. but were do we look..

The prolonged firing time of 13 miliseconds indicates the spark is struggling and that could mean overly rich or lean conditions. a faulty injector can cause the problem.

Low compression can also contribute to that. It could be due to leaking valves.

Do you have any overheating or depletion of coolant issues?
