1997 Mazda Miata Cylinder 2 missing according to scan

I've replaced the plugs and wires and checked for spark. If injector for #2 is plugged is there a way to clear it without pulling it. Also, what else could cause one cylinder to misfire. The plug isn't fouling and engine doesn't burn oil.

No, you have to pull the injector and if the injector is plugged you are better off replacing it. BUT, before I did that, you should check the compression on #2. You could also interchange injectors with #3 cylinder and see if the "miss" follows.

Thanks for your reply Mr. Weizel. I want to especially thank you for highlighting my spelling error. Even at 53 years old with a college degree I still make spelling errors. Isn't that stupid?

I wasn't aware I corrected a spelling error. Don't feel bad, I have to go online with a dictionary at my side all the time.
