1991 Mazda Miata Idle Speed

The idle sometime idles higher then normal though when I put the ac on it idles normal again.

It usually idles a guess around .5 then idles at 1.5.

Try cleaning out the throttle plate and inspect the accelerator linkage/ binding- Also test the idle air control solenoid and airflow meter, also clean out the EGR and PCV valves comeback with some results
