2002 Mazda b3000 MAF Sensor

Does the MAF sensor in my Mazda B3000 3.0 litre V-6 (non-flex fuel) engine use a voltage signal to the computer or a frequency signal?

I would like try an HHO set-up on my truck and for the system to work the engine must use a voltage signal to "fake out" the MAF sensor.
