My clutch suddenly went out the other morning and I had it towed to a local shop. They were able to diagnose the problem and fixed it for my, so I am back on the road which is great.
However, my clutch pedal now doesn't engage the clutch until it is almost all the way to the floor. It makes it somewhat tricky to drive, or maybe I am just not used to it, but it doesn't seem right.
Is this a problem? I mentioned it to the shop and they said different slave cylinders can be callibrated differnently, so I should be OK. But I am still worried about it.
Is this something that should be fixed? If so, what should be done to fix it?
Thanks,
Sam Markham
