1995 Mazda b2200 No power

If your battery was a little old then the cold could definitely drain it in a few days. First, ensure the battery terminals are cleaned from any corrosion and tightened on battery. If OK here, you can have a local auto part store test the battery for you for free. If battery tests OK then you should get a jump start and drive to part store to have alternator tested for free.

I've tried testing the battery for sparks and it was good, strong sparks coming out that is because I charge the battery a week ago and after the charging, it's in good condition for about a week too. Then this week I had it sit for almost a week. When I tried it today, that's what happen, looking at the gauge part, the clock is dead, even the other lights for temp., the hand break indicator had a little amount of light. By the way, the battery is still good, it's less than a year since I bought that battery. Thanks again for the replies.

yup, its clean and tightened. Also when I do start the ignition, there's no start sign, like that starting sound, only a click sound, I think that's the starter clicking i guess.. Is the climate 1 possible reason for it? It's rainy cold season out here and I parked the car out side. Haven't tried pushing it for start, still waiting for man power(Help). :D

The clicking is because of dead charging system. I know you say it sparked good but that does not really indicate that it is strong enough to start your vehicle. You will have to have it tested with a machine at a part store to really know if it is good or not. Your alternator may be the real culprit which may have drained your new battery slowly and now your battery could be weaker than you think.

ooohhhh... ok. I will go and have a test on that battery, I'll update you on what will be the progress. :) Thanks a lot sir. 1 More thing, if the coolant light indicator is on, what is the prob.? I don't know if the indicator is broken or what.

If the coolant is full then it is probably the coolant level sensor in the coolant resevoir that is faulty and sending a "false alarm" to the vehicle's computer. Nothing to worry about as long as coolant is actually full. It is just an annoyance having to check coolant all the time until sensor is fixed.

Ei bluelightnin6, it's up and running now. It's only a discharge battery. Found out that the previous charging was only for half day. That's why it went out after a week of not using it, but now it's good to go. This time have a prob. with the fuse, can't locate the fuse for the horn. I look at the fuse box under the steering Wheel but there's no horn indicator on it, only defog, engine, stop, hazard... etc. You know where to locate the fuse for the horn? Thanks.
