Hi there, this is one of those Jobs that you have to be shown rather than described, its all about feel and position, sounds a bit strange i know, but believe me if i try and describe this job i may be here all night and still not get the message across, i would get a mechanic to do this for you, may be they will let you watch so you can see the procedure.
