I want to know how i can try to bump start this vehicle

to start a manual transmission equipped vehicle with a dead battery or starter just get the truck rolling a little bit by a helper pushing then put the vehicle in 2nd gear and pop the clutch out really fast, as soon as you hear engine rotating push clutch back in.
