2000 Mazda 626 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Car hard to turn added power steering fluid, now its totally gone, Can I drive without ir, will it harm the car and do you know appro cost of repair

HI there,

This will be one of three things, the pump has failed, a leaking hose or a leaking rack, all will cost different amounts to repair the rack is the most expensive the pump next then the hoses, if the pump is ok and you drive it with no oil you will destroy the pump, so top it up and see if you can locate the leak, let me know what and i will be able to advise on costs involved.
a quick look at Mitchell 1 data base does not have costing for parts for this job.
