My son had his transmission fluid changed, and then the engine compartment was leaking fluid. No leaks what so sever when it was taken in to have the fluid changed. So he takes it back and they said that they had overfilled it and removed the required amount and everything will be OK. Not. He went to the car and it was still a puddle underneath the car. Now they take it in and say he needs new transaxle seals. Now I show up and they put it on rack and there is still leaking present, so we check the level on the fluid while it was still ar operating temp. Still overfilled, drain some out and recheck, still overfilled. Remove more down to the correct level for hot fluid on the stick. We are now going to wait a few days and make sure the leak has stopped or is no longer present. My question is what can happen if the fluid level is overfilled dramatically.
