1999 Mazda 626 Electronic trunk release problem

I have a 2000 model 626 that the electronic trunk release suddely quit working. It will not work with the inside switch or the remote. I cannot find the fuse to check. Any ideas?

Inside Joint Box, behind left side of dash. There is a "D" Lock Fuse 30A that controls the trunk operation. It connects to Door Lock Timer Unit to the trunk lid actuator.
