Engine Mechanical problem
1997 Mazda 626 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 125k miles
The other day I was driving when I looked down I saw that my battery light was on and my temp gauge said that my car was over heating. I pulled over popped the hood but there were no signs that it was overheating ( no smoke, smells, anything ). I got back in and turned it on, it was idiling high ( normal just below 1, this time about 1.5 ) then the idle started jumping from 1.5 to 2.5 over and over almost like the car was reving itself up. I have no idea whats wrong, is it the computer, the alternator, control sensor?
