My 1997 mazda 626 Es V6 My headlights tail lights intrument cluster lights and fog light dont work. Where is the headlight relay and tns relay on my car could that be the problem?

Hi taylorr01234, Thank you for the donation. The headlight relay is located at right front corner of engine compartment and if the relay is faulty, all those light you indicated would not work. Sorry I could not find any diagrams to show you. Have you checked the Head fuse ( 30 A) in main fuse block at left side of engine compartment?

Ok I jumped the green wire on the tns relay and all the lights turned on then i jumped the headlight relay and the headlights came on would this be bad relays or does the switch need to be replaced

At the light switch, with lights turned on, use a test lamp to ground the White/Red wire. If lights turn on, the switch is bad.

If lights does not turn on, the headlight relay is bad.

Did you try swapping the relay?

Alright thank you i will do i need to remove the whole steering wheel or just the switch. How do you remove just the switch?

To remove the switch you need to remove the steering wheel and column covers.

For testing you can use the wire harness going to the fuse box.

If equipped with airbags, extra precautions has to be taken while removing and installing the steeering wheel.
