18 months ago the engine started to racewhen istarted it up,this could happen at any time of the day,the revs would go up to 2000rpm and remain like that for15 to 20 mins and suddenly it would return to its normal idle speed which is around 500 to 750 rpm.When the idle speed went high it was a nightmare to drive as it behaved like a badly trained dog constantly trying to charge ahead, my garage that does my repair and mot,checked it and informed me that there aws a leak in the inlet manifold,and it needed to be replaced.this they did for me at acost of around £250.00 plus vat plus labour and parts.that cured the problemand my mazdawasa dream to drive again,however now the problem has manifested itself again,and it is getting inpossible to drive,can you plaese advice or help me please ?.
