Recently my car overheated, smoked excessively and died. I took it to a mechanic where they were able to start it right up and drive it a little. They changed the plugs and wires and installed new valve cover gasket. However, they said the car has distributor problems. Does this sound right? How much would it costs and how long can I drive the vehicle before it gets worse.
