buying a car from a friend, says the
lifters need to be re-adjusted. What does this mean, and how much will this cost?

HI there,

This is fitted with hydraulic lash adjusters and they are not adjustable, if one or more are faulty they will have to be replaced.

How much would something like tht cost? Because the person is charging me 800 for the car
