Dear members

I have noticed an issue with radiator cooling fan, before if car was at idle and AC off initially radiator fan was operating at slow speed and only Radiator fan till the car was not fully warmed or drived for some time. But now I have noticed that radiator fan doent operate at slow but when car is warmed up both radiator and Condensor fans come on at high speed. there is no check engine etc light.

Anyone can guide to resolve this issue will be appreciated.

what i'm sowing in pic is a US model and I think yours may be similar because we only have 2.5L not 2.0 so i'm thinking you are out of country. anyhow this has a module to run both fans and you are saying one fan runs then the module may be at fault which a mechanic will have to scan for codes. both fans are controlled by this as well as a fuse and relay. if one fan works then the fuse and relay are good.

Dear HMAC300
Thanks for your response, Actually both fans are working if AC is ON or car is fully warmed up then also both fans are working with high speed, but the issue is initially if AC is off and car in not too hot then radiator fan should work at slow speed not high speed but issue is that fan doesn't operate slow initially and later when car fully hot then both fans with full speed. So why it doesn't operate at slow? it operates only at high speed but as per its operational modes it should operate at low and high speed. also with AC automatic fan on/off is working fine.

I have doubt that there may be issue with fan motor because few days ago I noticed vibration and noise in same fan motor. so how I can find the root cause.

fan issue I noticed only after washing the whole engine bay.

re read my reply the module controls the speeds and when to turn on so a mechanic has to scan see if something is wrong with it

Dear HMAC300
Can you please share the operational table for both fans that in which condition it should operate slow and when it should operate at high speed and when both fans should operate.

we don't have an operation table, normally one fan operates when car is at normal temps. othe r fan kicks on when a/c is on when temp goes high and pcm reads that then it would go to higher speed if needed. that is why you need a mechanic to scan for codes to see if module is working If at all. you cannot use an auto parts cheap scanner as it will not read those modules.
