My mazda is a 323 '95 model with 220000 km's on the clock. The car runs perfectly. There are no starting or ideling problems. The only issue is that for the last 1500km's she has picked up this heavy vibration in the engine. At 3000rpm the engine gets this vibration that you can feel in the floor boards and the change in the ashtray vibrates aswell. This only occurs around 3000rpm and once you are over it the engine runs perfect again. When you slow down past 3000rpm you feel the vibration again. Can you tel me what causes this and how serious this realy is.

Thanks for the input

Hi. I'm having a similar problem with my 1995 Ford Explorer (196,000+ miles). Recently the car has fallen apart. I've had the fuel pump & fuel pump relay replaced as well as the rear differential.

I just got the car back less than a week ago. I've noticed that while idling at low speeds (or trying to park) the car sounds like its straining and the brakes and sometimes the wheel strain too. (this was not happening before I brought it into the dealership to have the rear differential replaced)

Anyways, I was running errands and it just died again. The car won't start, power locks and windows, radio, interior lights, etc. won't turn on. I've also got a faint clicking noise coming from the engine.

I was able to get the car jumped but it won't hold a charge.

I think it might be the battery, but I'd like an expert's opinion/advice before proceeding.

Thanks.
