Hey guys , am going to fix my girlfriends car , just need the specs for the head bolt torq tensions , cam shaft timing procedure , cam cap torq tensions and the timing marks for the cams , yes it is a 1.8 DOHC fuel injected . Any other advice on what to check would be appreciated ..... like checking for cracked head ..
Cheers
Owen :)

Definitly have the head pressure tested and surfaced. This will ensure that the head isnt cracked and has a truely flat mating surface.Get all gasket surfaces as clean as possible to help them seal properly, with no sealer used on the head gasket, just 2 dry. clean surfaces. 1995 1.8 liter Head bolt torque- 56-60 ft lbs in order (see pic)

It is always a good idea to look and verify timing marks before removing timing belt, just to falimiarize yourself with what you need to look like at reassembly. Have fun
