Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
2004 Mazda 3 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic
Hey Guys,
My Inner CV boot pooped out when I was installing struts .. So I plan to clean it and re-grease it ..
I never did that before ....
I know 1st problem is that I didn't mark tripod bearings so they will go in to different slots is that a big problem ?
Question is how much grease I should put in to that metal cup/housing ( fill it to the top then stick tripod bearing ? and clamp it ? )
or maybe half only ...
should I put some grease in to rubber boot too ?
Is it wise to use Reman drive shafts ? should I change both sides at the time ( I'm talking here future )[img:4ac3046199]http://www.2carpros.com/forum/automotive_pictures/249575_DSCN3201_2.jpg[/img:4ac3046199]
So here is the cup not sure where and how much grease should I use ?
