I have removed the old rear brake pads. I've obtained a large enough C- clamp to depress the piston. It appears that I've can't get the piston to depress anymore yet I don't have enough room to put on the new pads and reinstall the caliper.

I was able to run down this tool from Auto Zone and it made all the difference in the world. I have a new problem however. I have figured out how to attach the pad with the clip on it to the caliper piton, however, I can't figure out how to attach the retainer once the pad is on the piston. Please advise.
