Massive coolant leak and engine smoking?

It is smoking from the engine bay near the air filter, on top of engine, has a major coolant leak that you can only see under the car at the rear of the engine and is overheating slightly according to the engine temperature gauge.

Hi,

Chances are it is related to the heater hoses or the hose tube. (See pic below) However, to make sure that is the issue, we need to fill the coolant and pressure test the system. You will need a pressure tester, but most parts stores will lend one to you.

Note, if you have a major leak, the vehicle shouldn't be driven until it's repaired. You don't want to overheat the engine and cause additional damage.
