If the check engine light is on,
Take that puppy over to Autozone/ Advance Auto Parts/ etc.
They can scan your vehicle for trouble codes.
Write down the exact numbers of the codes they find (made up example PO135 may be several)
They might offer the code meanings and suggest what to fix (they may be correct)
Before you buy stuff, bring the CODE NUMBERS here and let us have a crack at a diagnosis.
