Grinding when shifting into third then lost third gear and fourth now. All i have is second gear now.

have a mechanic check for broken linkage/cable it may not be shifting levers to get to other gears. it can be broken anywhere arrows are, have an assistant shift the gears and at transmission one will go forward/back other up/down. picture to follow.
