Manual gear shift stuck in reverse

The car starts and everything just will not come out of reverse.

have an assistant check linkage while you try to shift out of reverse if not moving then have assistant disconnect linkage and see if transmission will move out of reverse as the shift linkage may be worn out. check at arrows .
