Cranks does not start

Hi,

I'm not sure what you are referring to when you say downpipe. Is it possible for you to take a pic and upload it for me to see?

Also, I need you to remove one of the spark plugs and check its condition. Is the plug wet with gas indicating there is a no ignition spark issue or are they dry indicating no fuel.

Confirm there is spark. If you see something leaking, I'm concerned it is fuel, but again, I'm not sure what you are referring to as a downpipe other than the exhaust manifold.

I attached a pic below. It shows the cross-over pipe. Is that what you are referring to? Also, can you tell what kind of fluid is coming out? For example, is it fuel, coolant, or something different?

Yes, that is it the crossover pipe and it is leaking coolant.

If you are getting coolant from there, something went wrong with the lower intake gasket. For coolant to be coming from the exhaust crossover pipe, it has to be going through one or more of the cylinders.

Stop trying to start it. You need to remove the intake again and inspect it for where the leak is located. Also, check the engine oil to see if any made it into the oil. If there is any evidence of coolant mixing with the oil, change it before running it.

If you look at the attachments below, they show the directions and torque specs for the intake manifold. I included both the upper and lower intake removal and replacement directions. The directions include pics as well. These are specific to this vehicle.

Let me know what you find. There must be a leak at one of the water passages.
