Making a noise underneath the hood like chirping

Turn the car on and driving down the road makes a chirping noise setting and driving or just idling and it is on the left driver side. i do not know what it is.

Take a look at the belt. If it is cracked and old, then it is slipping a little bit, causing the chirping or squeaking sound. Check this guide out: https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-a-serpentine-belt-works

Also, occasionally my car will do this. It is when a little bit of dirt /grease gets on the pulleys. I have to take an old tooth brush and lightly touch it to both sides of the belt while it is idling. This cleans the crud off and the sound stops almost immediately. We do not have a guide for that one though, as it is more of a backyard mechanic trick to do.
